The community asked and Crossfit Manifold of Minden answered. In response to a high demand for gymnastics classes in town, Manifold Gymnastics classes were introduced on October 2.
“People kept saying to Brock Emery and Tiff Weeder, ‘Wouldn’t it be so great if we had gymnastics?’ ‘We just need gymnastics’. So through a mutual acquaintance they knew I was qualified to teach gymnastics and asked if I would like to do that,” gymnastics coach Jayleen Landstrom said. “From the time that we first talked about it to when we had our first class was less than two months.”
Classes are held Mondays and Fridays at the Crossfit Manifold building, 316 N. Colorado, across from City Hall. Sessions are divided into three categories. Mommy and Me classes for kids 18 months to 3 years accompanied by a parent are held Mondays from 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Move and Groove classes for kids 4-6 years old are held Mondays 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays 2:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Gymnastics Basics for kids ages 7 and up are held Mondays 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and Fridays 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
