The KCHS Auxiliary will hold its annual Wine, Wreaths & Whimsy event on Sunday, November 4 at the Kearney County Fairgrounds 4-H Building. This year’s theme is “You’re So Vein” and proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the purchase of AccuVein Hands Free devices.
“This was the brain child of our auxiliary members. They were adamant this year that they wanted to raise money to purchase an improvement for the facility that would be something many in the community could relate to,” KCHS Volunteer Coordinator Shelley Biever said.
The AccuVein AV400 digitally displays a map of the vasculature on the surface of the skin in real time allowing clinicians to verify vein patency and avoid valves or bifurcations. It is handheld, lightweight, and easily converts to hands-free with the use of optional wheeled or fixed stands.
