The Minden City Council proclaimed April 8-14 Community Development Week in Minden at their meeting on Monday, April 2.
After discussion and approval of the consent agenda, Mayor Roger Jones read the following proclamation:
WHEREAS, Nebraska’s communities are the foundation for providing a high quality of life for its residents; and,
WHEREAS, The Minden Economic Development Program, the Minden Chamber of Commerce, and the Kearney County Economic Development Agency have demonstrated a dedication to the economic, social and cultural growth in this community; and,
WHEREAS, The Minden Economic Development Program, the Minden Chamber of Commerce, and the Kearney County Economic Development Agency have actively supported community development activities, supplementing or assisting in the coordination of public programs and other private services in Minden;
