The Minden City Council approved Olsson Associates to move forward with a survey and engineering plan, specification and bidding documents for the 2012 City Paving Project at their meeting on Monday, April 16.
According to City Administrator Matt Cederburg, he sat down with Chris Klahn, as well as engineers to discuss the paving needs around Minden, specifically on 5th St. and at Minden West Estates.
Water is not draining from areas of the west estates, delaying owners from installing sprinklers and landscaping.
Cederburg said the engineers outlined a $10,000 to 15,000 plan that would help the drainage, but amount to a temporary solution.
