The Minden Whippet track and field teams hosted the 2012 Southwest Conference meet on Saturday at Kuper Field in warm conditions.
The Whippets have only two regular season meets remaining — on Friday at Cozad and the district meet set for Thursday, May 10 at Grand Island Northwest.
The Lady Whippets were able to take third place in the team standings scoring 90 points. Gothenburg won the girls team championship with a score of 128 followed by Cozad with a 105.
