Kearney County Judge Michael Burns decided there was enough evidence to support the eight felonies charged against Petr Strizheus, 19, of Harrisburg, S.D. and the seven against Aleksandr Voznyuk, 22, of Sioux Falls, S.D. at their preliminary hearing in the Kearney County Courthouse on Thursday, April 26.
Both Strizheus and Voznyuk are charged with one count of attempted second-degree murder of a state patrol officer, three counts of use of a firearm to commit a felony, two counts of unlawful discharge of a firearm, one count of receiving stolen property of more than $1,500 and one count of criminal mischief to cause intentional property damage.
