The Kearney County Board of Supervisors accepted bids to sell a 1981 freight liner to Tom Meisenbach for $3,500, a fuel truck to Kevin Smith for $510, and a welder to Jared Jenkins for $75 at their meeting on Tuesday, May 8. The board was selling items deemed surplus by the county.
At the outset of the meeting, Terry Krohn, from Two Rivers Health Department, gave the supervisors an update on health in Kearney County. She submitted the same annual report given to the Nebraska State Office of Public Health. She also passed around a return on investment sheet, which documented all funds in the ten years since Two Rivers was founded.
