The Kearney County Raiders mounted a great final-inning comeback to top Wood River on June 12 11-9. The Raiders were down five entering their last at-bat but exploded for seven runs thanks to four hits, two walks and two batters hit by pitches.
For the game, KC’s eight total base hits were spread among Garrett Berkeypile (2 hits), Thomas Miller, Alexis Ciprian, Jon Miller, Jake Kuehn, Keller Koch and Josiah Lovin. T. Miller, J. Miller and Kuehn each had 2 RBI.
