The Minden City Council passed Resolution 1584 which repeals Section 15.06 of the Minden Personnel Manual requiring city employees to live in town at their meeting on Monday, July 2.
Council member Lathan Thompson spoke with surrounding cities and found Kearney requires their on-call employees to live within 30 minutes, and Holdrege “simply won’t hire you” if an applicant lives outside of a given area.
