The final town hall meeting for the public was held on July 31 at the Minden Opera House for the purpose of developing the City of Minden’s Comprehensive Plan for the next ten years - 2013 to 2023.
This was the citizens of Minden’s final chance to voice opinions and give feedback that will go into the plan, first traveling to the Minden Planning and Zoning Board for their recommendation and if accepted to the City Council for final approval.
Miller and Associates’ Craig Bennett and Brenda Jensen presented to the small audience gathered in the Nied-Winther Room the final three topics - the first being future land use map, goals and zoning regulation review.
