2013 Minden Homecoming “The Stars Will Fall”

The Minden High School homecoming theme for 2012 is “The Stars Will Fall.”
The spirit days are Monday, September 30 through Friday, October 4.
Monday:  Twin Day
Tuesday:  Teacher Tuesday
Wednesday: Costume Day (no masks)
Thursday:  America Day
Friday:  Purple/White Day.
The Homecoming parade will be on Friday, October 4 at 2:30 p.m.
Interested organizations or groups who want to enter a parade float are asked to line up on the streets to the east and north of the post office. (Do NOT line up behind the fire department vehicles – in case of emergency and to ensure you’re included as the emergency vehicles are the last entry of the parade.) Your entry will be directed into the parade once you’re there.
The coronation of the 2013 Homecoming royalty will be immediately after the parade on the Minden Opera House balcony.  Then the cheerleaders will lead a community pep rally.  It will be located on 5th Street between the Opera House and Courthouse.
The Homecoming football game will be on October 4 at 7:00 p.m. against the Kearney Catholic Stars.
The Homecoming dance will be on October 5 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the High School gym.  Doors will lock at 9 p.m.
