4-H Offers Ample Projects and Solara Quigley is Ready to Try Them All

AXTELL – Eleven-year-old Solara Quigley seems interested in everything. Or at least every project she’s taken since first joining the Keene Kids 4-H Club as a Clover Kid.

Her list of projects and 2022 Kearney County Fair entries includes photography, entomology, home design, baking, food preservation, horticulture, reuse-reduce-recycle and design decisions.

Solara admits to being a little nervous at fair time when her entries are judged, but that doesn’t diminish her love of fair week. When asked what she likes best about the fair and 4-H, she said, “Honestly, seeing all the different things. And making all of the projects is so much fun.”
