Adrian Choquette

Adrian O. Choquette, 93, of Minden passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Kearney County Health Services in Minden. Funeral Mass was held on on Monday, September 12, 2022 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Campbell with the Rev. Adam Sparling celebrating and Rev. Evan Winter concelebrating. Interment was held following the service at St. Anne Cemetery, east of Campbell, with military honors presented by the Campbell American Legion. 

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minden with a Rosary service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Adrian’s honor are kindly suggested to St. Anne Catholic Church in Campbell, Campbell American Legion, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minden, or Bethany Home in Minden. 

Arrangements are under the care of Craig Funeral Home in Minden. 

Adrian Odell Choquette was born on October 15, 1928 in rural Franklin county, Nebraska to Emile and Leone (Forrest) Choquette. 

He grew up in the Campbell area and graduated from Campbell High School. He entered the United States Air Force where he faithfully served his country from 1950 to 1955. He was united in marriage to Edith Nellie Marie Hoelting on June 21, 1955 and to this union six children were born. He was a lifelong farmer. 

Adrian was a member of the St. Anne Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Chalice Club, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Campbell American Legion and Macon Lions. He also served on Southern Power board. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Marie of Minden; his six children, Kevin (Connie), Lori (Tim) Trompke, Janelle (Marty) Bohan, Cindy (Phil) Scharber, Kerwin and Scott (Jenny); 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; along with his brothers, Edwin (Pat) and Richard (Donna) Choquette. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bernard and sister Bernice Blystone, great granddaughter Saige and several in laws.
