Private services for Adrianna M. McClymont will be held.
Adrianna Margaret (Maxon) McClymont, 83 years of age, died Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Bryan Medical Center East Campus in Lincoln, Nebraska. Adrianna was born to John Harold (Bizz) Maxon and Hazel (Davis) Maxon Lynch on November 6, 1937 in Minden, NE. Adrianna was a graduate of Minden High School and Kearney State Teachers College.
In 1958, she was united in marriage to Paul Warren McClymont, their union was blessed with two children, Jeffrey Paul and Jeanne Ann. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church, she was an independent Christian in later years.
Adrianna’s deep roots in the Holdrege community have left behind many friends who remember her enthusiasm, her wit, and her infectious laugh. As a young woman, Adri taught school for several years before leaving to raise her family. Adri was an active member of Chapter H P.E.O., a devoted wife, and business partner with Warren, and later met many people through her love of retail. Throughout her rich and varied life, she touched many lives in the Holdrege, Minden, and Kearney areas.
Adrianna was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Warren; and children: Jeffrey Paul, and Jeanne Ann.
Survivors are: son-in-law, James Phillips; and sister, Peggy (Joseph) Martines; three nieces: Jane Teply, Sally Nelson, and Meg Martines; and four nephews: Steven McClymont, John McClymont, Joseph E Martines, III, and Mathew Martines.
It was her request that her body be bequeathed to the Anatomical Board of Nebraska; to be used in medical education and research. Upon conclusion of which, her remains will be cremated and privately inurned.
It is her wish that there be no visitation or memorial services after her death.
Memorials may be given to: the Nebraska Children’s Home Society; Mosaic (formerly Bethphage Mission) at Axtell; or to the donor’s choice.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
