AgVenture Defeats L-N

The Kearney County AgVenture Juniors baseball team needed just 4 1/2 innings to dispatch Lawrence-Nelson 11-1 on Tuesday, June 12.
Jordan Miller pitched the complete game, allowing one run with nine strikeouts for his third victory of the season. Quin Rutt scored three times for AgVenture after notching a single, triple and being hit by a pitch.
Miller’s only run allowed came in the first inning. After a walk and a steal of second, Lawrence-Nelson managed a two-out RBI single to take the early 1-0 lead. They would not get a runner past first base after that.
