AgVenture Juniors Pick Up Three Victories

The AgVenture Juniors baseball team moved to 4-0 by picking up three wins recently, all in the friendly confines of the home field.
On May 31, the Juniors jumped out to an early lead on Ord and coasted to a 14-0 victory. Nine runs in the first three innings allowed AgVenture to tilt the contest comfortably in their favor. Five more runs came across in the bottom of the fourth and, after shutting out Ord in all five of their at-bats, the Juniors had their ten-run rule shortened triumph.
Sturgis Hanson had two hits, one a double, and four RBI to lead the AgVenture offense. Jonathan Miller had a hit and two RBI and Cody Nickel pounded two hits and had one RBI. Parker Sis ripped a triple and other hits were made by Matt Exstrom, Josiah Lovin and Adam DeLaet.
DeLaet and Sis also drove in a run each.
Lovin pitched a complete-game jewel, fanning eleven and allowing just two hits in the shutout effort.
