AgVenture Splits Two Over The Weekend

The AgVenture Junior Legion baseball team split its pair of games over the weekend.
AgVenture picked up a home win against Elwood on July 8 but lost at Edgar on Sunday.
AgVenture breezed to a 15-3 win over Elwood at Bjorklund Field.
Matt Exstrom picked up the win pitching two innings while Journey Erickson pitched the final inning of the three inning win.
Elwood got to Exstrom in the first inning for one run but that was quickly erased.
The Juniors started fast as Jonas Lovin walked and was brought home by a Jordan Miller triple. Quin Rutt, Jacob Jelden and Erickson all walked. Exstrom helped his own cause with a double followed by two more walks to Landon Lempka and Isaac Carlson. Lovin delivered an RBI double on his next trip to the plate. By the time the inning was over AgVenture had plated eight base runners.
