Antique Airplane Fly-In Friday

Beginning on Friday, Aug. 27, the Nebraska Chapter Antique Airplane Association will hold its 29th annual Fly-In in Minden.
The fly in will be held at Pioneer Field in Minden.
A fly in is a gathering of pilots and their aircraft where enthusiasts as well as newcomers can discuss their planes and aviation in general.
The three day event begins on Friday with registration and a cream can supper for all registered guests courtesy of the Minden Airport Board.
Friday evening fly-bys and fun flying will be held by the participants.  On Saturday,  a fly-by breakfast and lunch will be served for participants courtesy of the Kearney EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter, a seminar and judging will take place.
Fun flying and fly-bys will be happening throughout the day.
Friday through Saturday airplane rides in an open cockpit bi-plane will be available for a fee. For more information about the rides, contact Biplanerides.org.
The community is encouraged to take part in this event, meet the pilots and view aircraft on display.
