The First Bank Senior Legion baseball team was in action on Wednesday hosting Aurora at home at Ollie Bjorklund Field.
First Bank lost a close 3-1 decision despite out-hitting Aurora three to two in a pitching tussle.
Jonas Lovin took the loss for the Seniors pitching all seven innings giving up the two hits and three runs striking out 12 hitters and walking three.
Aurora was able to get on top of Lovin and First Bank scoring a run in the first and second to go ahead 2-0.
Aurora was able to add to its lead in the third with its final run to go ahead 3-0. First Bank was able to get on the board in the bottom of the fourth when Jordan Miller doubled, stole third and scored while Quenton Journey walked, stole second and was caught stealing third. Aurora maintained the 3-1 lead.
