Axtell Alumnus Rush Produces Blagdon Film

Kelly Rush, 1980 Axtell High School graduate, knows a good story when she sees one. Rush is a Promotion Producer for Nebraska Education Telecommunications Commission (NET), which broadcasts the state’s PBS television station. Her job is to create thirty or sixty second videos to promote NET local programming.
Thirty seconds isn’t very long to draw someone in, but Rush knows how to give viewers a taste of a story that leaves them wanting to know the rest.
Growing up in Axtell, Rush knew she wanted to work in television. While in college at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Rush got a job at NTV Television Station 13 headquartered northeast of Axtell.
