Axtell Falls To Knights In Opener

The Axtell Wildcats boys basketball team played the Spalding/Spalding Academy Knights in the Axtell Holiday Tournament on December 27.

The Knights consistently held back Axtell, who fell to 3-5 on the season with a 44-68 loss. Jordan Miller led the team in scoring, with 14 points, and he tied with Sturgis Hanson for a team-high six rebounds. Miller also had four steals during the game.
