Board Hires Marino For Success Center
The Minden Public Schools Board of Education approved the hiring of Antonio Marino as an alternative education instructor at the success center.
Marino, whose wife is a professor at Hastings College, was hired on half-time to work with the students at the Success Center. He is also a licensed health and family consumer science teacher.
High School Principal Don Hosick told the board he had met with Marino on the last day before Marino was set to travel back to his home in Indiana and his experience was in line with positive reviews received from prior employers. The board approved the hiring unanimously.
