Carlson Scores 37, Lifts Dawgs To Win

The Minden Whippet boys basketball team made their 2012-13 home debut on Saturday at C.L. Jones Gymnasium when they hosted Southwest Conference rival, the Ogallala Indians.
MInden was in search of its first victory of the season after dropping the season-opener at Southern Valley on Thursday.
The Dawgs got a career-high 37 points from senior Isaac Carlson en route to a 39 point victory, 80-41.
Carlson made 12 of 16 field goals including four of five three-pointers and also went 9 of  12 from the free throw line. Joining Carlson in double figures was RJ Watson with 12 while Jonas Lovin added seven and Cole Gibbins and Jonathan Miller had six each.
