Cats Down Raiders

The Axtell Wildcats boys basketball team picked up another home court victory on Saturday when they hosted the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders.
The Cats rode Bryce Runge’s 27 points to earn the 20-point victory, 60-40. Axtell improves to 5-7 on the season as Runge added 13 rebounds, four steals and three assists to his stat line.
Axtell used a balanced attack with all 12 players finding the scoring column with Heath Anderbery adding seven points followed by Jordan Miller and Brandt Runge with six each.
