Cats, Falcons Compete in 2022 FKC/TVC Tournament

The Axtell Wildcats and Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons wrestling teams competed in the Fort Kearny Conference and Twin Valley Conference wrestling tournament on Feb. 3 hosted by Amherst.

The Cats placed fourth overall with 95 points with the Falcons placing ninth with 32 points. Amherst won the meet with 182 points followed by Red Cloud/Blue Hill with 134.5 and Pleasanton in third with 124.

The Wildcats had two champions in Jacob Fox at 126 pounds and Taaron Lavicky at 152 pounds. Ashton Hawkins was second at 195 and Quinn Bertrand third at 145 pounds.
