City Council Approves West Estates Park Plan
The Minden City Council met on June 3 for its first meeting of the month in the council chambers with Mayor Roger Jones absent and council president Ted Griess presiding over the council.
The council had a short agenda and breezed through the meeting in less than 40 minutes.
The most discussed topic was the Minden West Estate Park project as approved by the CRA.
The council had its initial talks about a proposed park/green space in Lot 24 which would be in an “L” shaped area around the west water tower with a proposed space being 187 ft. east to west by 150 ft. north and south.
