A proposed hike and bike trail around Minden was discussed publicly at Minden’s Opera House on Thursday, September 13th, 2012. Just over 40 people attended the meeting.
City Administrator Matt Cederburg MC’d the meeting. A slide presentation was given on why the current route was chosen by Kent Cordes from Miller and Associates Consulting Engineers, P.C. out of Kearney. This is the first project the firm has worked on in Minden.
“This is a fabulous turnout,” Cederburg noted at the beginning of the meeting. “I want to thank you all for coming for such an important topic. This has been on the council’s mind for some time. With the budget meeting coming up and for various other reasons the council would really like to look up to the public.”
