There were more than 50 participants on the June 1 Zoom meeting of the Minden City Council as residents were anxious to share their opinions and hear the council’s decision about reopening City services and activities.
Mayor Ted Griess thanked the citizens who participated in the City COVID survey. Nearly a quarter of the population was represented with more than 700 respondents. Results from the survey showed an overwhelming desire for the City to open all services and activities.
The council considered each area separately starting with City Hall. City Administrator Matt Cederburg told the council he had spoken with the office staff and addressed concerns about reopening.
