CLJMS Presents ‘Whippet Alone’

March 16 with be glamor and glitz for the C.L. Jones Middle School 7th & 8th grade Journalism and Linguistics students, their immediate families, and a few lucky community members at the premier of the 2021 CLJMS short film ‘Whippet Alone’. The film was created, filmed, and edited by Whitney Maulsby’s Journalism students while promotional efforts are carried out by her Linguistics class.

The title and trailer for the short film were released on a live Striv broadcast last week. During the promotion, students spoke with CLJMS Principal Chelsey Jensen, teacher and film director Whitney Maulsby, as well as students involved with creating and promoting the film. The video can be found on the schools’ social media outlets. Fliers, movie posters, and table tents to promote the short film were also distributed.
