Community leaders held a very short phone conference on August 31 to discuss the current COVID-19 situation in Kearney County.
Two Rivers Public Health Department provided a brief report of coronavirus related statistics in the district including numbers of hospitalizations and available ventilators. Ideally the district would show a decrease in positive cases, but there has been a lot of fluctuation recently.
Although numbers aren’t where TRPHD would like them to be, they offered a thank you to everyone for their efforts that have helped to control the spread of coronavirus. They expressed hope to have better news to report during the next meeting in two weeks.
