Community Leaders Discuss Current DHMs

Community leaders held another phone conference on September 14 to continue discussions relating to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in Kearney County. Two Rivers Public Health Department started the conversation with current trends and suggestions for moving forward.

Testing in Kearney County per capita during the last three months has been good. The most significant transmission of the virus continues to be among the college aged population. The TRPHD district risk dial remains in the orange, elevated level with a continued significant number  of positive cases throughout the district. Three more deaths related to COVID-19 in the district were reported on Monday.

As the state moves into Phase 4, most safety guidelines for the pandemic are now only recommendations. Limits on gatherings both inside and outside remain in effect and isolation and quarantine guidelines are still enforced.
