Continued Vandalism In City Parks Angers Officials

100 damage to the restroom facilities at both Augie Nelson park and Jaycee Park  over the holiday weekend.
City maintenance worker Dennis Lammers discovered the damage Tuesday morning.
At Augie Nelson Park,  structural damage was  limited to the men’s restroom facility; the suspects ripped off the toilet lid and smashed it on the floor, shot out the light with a BB gun, and attempted to plug the toilet with toilet paper rolls. Trash was  also dumped and scattered in the women’s facility.

At Jaycee Park, vandals filled the portable toilets with toilet paper and set them on fire, melting the lids.For complete story read or subscribe to The Courier
