The Minden City Council had change orders to consider for two City infrastructure projects during the August 19 regular meeting.
First up was a change order for the Minden Paving, Drainage, and Water Improvements project. While installing the water main on Campbell Street and Holland Street, workers found unmapped service lines. Repair and installation of the unanticipated lines will result in a $9,402.17 increase to the project’s contract price and an additional three days of work.
The council approved change order 2 of Minden Paving, Drainage and Water Improvement project for additions of unknown conditions, city directed installations, and a three day extension.
