County Board Selects CAT Motor Grader Bid

The Kearney County Board of Supervisors opened bids for a new motor grader at their meeting on Tuesday, April 16.
Four total bids were received, two from CAT and two from Murphy Tractor and Equipment Company.
CAT’s bids included one for a 140M2, at a selling price of $211,195. The bid subtracts $92,445 for the county’s old grader to be traded in, for a final price of $118,750, and immediate delivery.
CAT’s other bid was for the smaller 12M2 model, with a price of $108,950 after trade-in, with delivery available by mid-July.
