The Kearney County Board of Supervisors met April 21 with only a few agenda items to discuss.
Starting with new business, the board approved minutes from the April 7 meeting and bills and claims. A resolution to renew cash in lieu of insurance for July 20/21 was approved. The supervisors also signed an administrative agreement for health insurance.
County Attorney Melodie Bellamy brought concerns about the County’s COVID-19 policy to the board. When the policy was created, the supervisors didn’t anticipate employees taking voluntary trips to hot-spots with full knowledge of the need to quarantine on their return.
