Plans to reduce traffic flow in the courthouse were announced during the November 17 regular meeting of the Kearney County Board of Supervisors. The precautions, implemented in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus, will be outlined at the courthouse entrances.
While public access to the courthouse will continue, people will be urged to conduct business by phone, mail, or email when possible. The public is also urged to utilize the courthouse drop box for payments.
When visits to the courthouse are necessary, masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged. People are also asked to limit visits to one person per transaction within the courthouse.
