Courier 2020 Year In Review: Part 2

During the Spring and Summer of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic crept closer to home and strict guidelines were put in place in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. The restrictions changed the way many daily activities and traditional events were approached, but Kearney County residents still found ways to celebrate and support one another.

The first positive case of COVID-19 is reported in Kearney County.

The City of Minden and several residents turn their Christmas lights back on to help bring people together and provide entertainment while maintaining social distancing during the pandemic.
