Kearney County Health Services is searching for Kearney County residents age 65 and over interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
KCHS holds a weekly vaccine clinic at Kearney County Fairgrounds to administer vaccines allocated by the state. At this time, eligible recipients are residents age 65 and over. KCHS has reached out to qualifying residents using a KCHS patient list and names supplied from Two Rivers Public Health Department comprised from those who signed up on the TRPHD website. Any resident age 65 and over who has not received a vaccine and is still interested should contact KCHS by calling (308)832-3400 option 6 to get registered.
Vaccinations take approximately half an hour from start to finish. Patients will complete paperwork, receive the vaccine, and stay for an observation period of 15-30 minutes to ensure there is no adverse reaction. Registration is required before attending the weekly vaccine clinic.
