Current Closings, Cancellations, And Changes In Business Operations Due To COVID-19

With the ever changing status of the COVID-19 pandemic in Kearney County, residents are encouraged to practice social distancing, previously scheduled events are being postponed or canceled, and businesses are implementing new practices in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. The Minden Courier will do its best to keep readers informed of changes and updates with weekly listings. For the most up to date changes check each business website or facebook page.

Residents are asked not to enter the Kearney County Courthouse unless it is necessary. The drop box on the east side of the courthouse is available for residents to drop off payments or paperwork for any office in the courthouse. For more information see page 4A.

Minden City Hall is closed for walk-in traffic. They are still conducting business but limiting entrance to appointment only until further notice. If you need immediate assistance, please call 308-832-1820. Please place all utility payments in the drop box. Payments are also accepted via mail to PO Box 239, Minden, NE 68959.
