Dawgs Open Track Season

The Minden Whippets girls and boys track teams got their 2022 season underway under perfect conditions on March 24 hosting Kearney Catholic and Adams Central at Kuper Field in Minden.

The Minden boys were paced by Gage Fries winning both the 60 and 300-meter hurdles while Kevin Aranda and Tucker Robinson placed second and third in the pole vault. Austin Lutkemeier was second and third respectively in the shot put and discus.

Orrin Kuehn and Landon Mellman placed second and third in the 400-meters while Konner Verbeck was second in the 800 and Carter Harsin and Caden Jameson were second and third in the 1,600-meters.
