The Jensen Memorial Library Board began renovations on the public library in 2012. While substantial progress was made at the time, not all of the board’s dreams were realized until they received a generous donation from the Randy Wolfe estate.
The donation made it possible to enclose the space on the southeast side of the library to create a meeting room and update the old meeting room into a youth program space.
A dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony were held on May 20. Members of the public admired the updates and shared their stories of Randy Wolfe. Library Board President Sue Yant recognized the library staff including Library Director Janene Hill and board members Deb Larson, Angie Oberg, Loneta Nolan, and Ashley Osterbuhr who were all instrumental in the project.
