Dr. Althouse Is Leaving KCHS In June

Kearney County Health Services will be losing a doctor in June as Dr. Doug Althouse will be leaving Minden and KCHS.

Dr. Althouse has been practicing in Minden since 2006 when he finished his residency at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Fred Meis Chief Executive Officer of Kearney County Health Services made the following statement:

“It is with deep regret that I have accepted Dr. Althouse’s resignation from his position here at Kearney County Health Services.  He has served our community and Kearney County Health Services very well during his tenure here. I do respect his decision and wish him the very best of luck when he moves into his new position.

Kearney County Health Services is actively seeking another physician and Dr. Althouse will be joining us in this recruitment effort. We are also making arrangements for additional physician coverage in the interim.
