Eigenberg And Bolen Take Over Minden Vision Clinic

As Dr. Ed Alderman transitions into retirement, he is certain that the level of care he has strived for will be continued by Drs. Nate Bolen and Andrea Eigenberg.

Though it is comforting to know this, Alderman faces the difficult task of moving on from the practice he began himself, the work and challenges he enjoys, and the service and care he has provided the community of Minden since 1981.

He believes it is time to settle into retirement, but it would not be hard if it was not for the relationships and experiences he has had during his time at the Minden Vision Clinic.

“It happens maybe a little sooner than you expect,” Alderman said.

On January 1, 2013, he sold the practice to Bolen and Eigenberg, a husband and wife team who have been working with him for a few years.

Both are familiar with south-central Nebraska, as Bolen and Eigenberg grew up in Kearney and Hastings, respectively. Bolen attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating in 2003, and Eigenberg went to Nebraska Wesleyan University, graduating in 2005.
