FACES Rally Final Year

Upland will be swarmed with motorcycles and their riders June 10-12 for the annual FACES Rally. The event that raises funds and awareness for FACES: The National Craniofacial Association started in Minden in 2001 and moved to Upland in 2009. Now in the 15th year, organizers are holding the three day motorcycle event one final time before saying goodbye.
“It’s just gotten to be so much work. We can’t do it justice anymore,” Founder and Co-organizer John Eckhardt said. “We want to end it on a good note rather than let it turn into an event no one wants to be at. The volunteers over the years have been very dedicated to make the FACES Rally a success and this year is no different.”
The occasion will begin with City Park opening to participants for free camping Friday afternoon. The beer garden and vendors will open that evening followed by practice bike games. Local band ‘Garden of Heathens’ will perform beginning at 8:00 p.m.
