Falcon Boys Fall To Mustangs

The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcon boys basketball team played another close contest on Friday in Roseland losing a hard-fought 56-51 decision to Silver Lake.
The Falcons fall to 1-16 on the season with only three players finding the scoring column. Clay Blank led the Falcons with 18 points followed by Michael Nelson with 17 and Clint Gardels with 16.
The Falcons trailed the Mustangs by seven points after the first period, 20-13. In the second, the Falcons sliced into the deficit with a 17 point quarter. The Mustangs were limited to 14 but went into halftime holding a four point edge, 34-30.
