Falcon Boys Get Second Win

The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons boys basketball team closed out the 2010-11 regular season on Friday traveling to Amherst to face the Broncos.
The Falcons enter subdistrict with momentum after picking up their second victory of the season, earning the 53-46 decision.
Clay Blank led the Falcons with a team-high 19 points followed by Michael Nelson with 14 points and Clint Gardels with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Blaine Groothuis added 11 rebounds and seven points.
The Falcons found themselves down early to Amherst 25-13 after the first period. Gardels led the team with seven points.
