Falcon Boys Lose To Bulldogs

The Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons boys basketball team remained winless on the season following Thursday’s home contest against the Shelton Bulldogs.
Shelton was able to pick up a road victory, 68-32.
The Falcons placed only four players in the scoring column led by double-figure scorers Michael Nelson with 14 points and Clint Gardels with 12.
“The boys came out slow and didn’t adjust to Shelton’s pressure defense,” stated WH head coach Dave Mroczek. “We must work on our ball handling and cut down on turnovers.
The Falcons trailed early in this contest to Shelton as the Bulldogs raced to a 12-2 lead after one period of play.
