Falcons, Cats Run At Gibbon Invite

The Wilcox-Hildreth and Axtell cross country teams opened their 2012 seasons at the Gibbon Invite on August 30. The tough course was made even more difficult with the hot, dry conditions.
The W-H girls squad finished fourth out of seven complete teams, although there were runners competing from sixteen different schools. Kaizelle Damit-og came in 20th overall in a time of 20:27. Caitlin Hinrichs was 23rd at 21:09 while Nicole Beisel was 27th at 21:40. The fourth team runner for the Falcons was Tyla Steier who crossed in 51st place at 25:41.
