Falcons, Cats Wrestle At FKC
The 2013 Fort Kearny Conference wrestling tournament was held on Thursday in Eustis with the Axtell Wildcats and Wilcox-Hildreth Falcons competing.
The Amherst Broncos won the FKC team title racking up 301 points followed by Loomis-Bertrand with 135 and SEM was third with 97. The Wildcats finished in eighth place with a team score of 33 followed by the Falcons in tenth place with 29 points.
Medalists for the Wildcats were Jordan Riley winning the 220 pound class followed by Jon Dobish taking 3rd at 132; Axel Cassel placed third at 182; and Lance Taylor was fifth at 152 pounds.
The Falcons had two medalists. Vade Jensen placed second at 182 pounds while Arick Aubushon took third at 195 pounds.
