Falcons Fall In Shootout With Harvard

Wilcox-Hildreth scored seven touchdowns, nine conversion points and amassed over 400 yards of offense but it wasn’t nearly enough as Harvard won a shootout with the Falcons 83-51 on October 16 at Harvard. W-H drops to 4-3 and closes the regular season at home on October 23 against Deshler.

The Falcons scored first in the game as Triston Nicks received a five-yard TD toss from Gavin Sheen and Sheen booted the conversion for an 8-0 lead. After Harvard scored on runs of 45 and 2 (plus two conversion kicks), Sheen hauled in a six-yard TD reception from Nicks. The conversion to tie the score failed so Harvard led 16-14. The Cardinals then ended the quarter with a 17-yard TD pass and the conversion kick to lead 24-14 after one period.
